CRAFT CAMP WINTER 26 - WEEK ONE

Join us for our very first craft camp.. a full day of upcycling, creative fun! 

Wednesday 1st of July 

Craft Club 9-10am - A creative hour of power -  we'll be testing out our hand eye coordination and getting those little fingers working as we tackle a beginner friendly embroidery project! (I'm going to say all ages, but parents I am trusting you here to know if your kiddo can wrangle a plastic needle with out taking our their neighbours eye) 

Craft Camp 10-2.30pm - THIS is for the craft kids, our little creative legends that want to sink their teeth into a big creative project (and the parents that need to drop + run and get some work in over the winter break)

The theme - Recycled Bead Soup. We'll be dismantling old jewellery and beads, washing, sorting and repurposing into three fabulously colourful projects - Croc BFF bracelets, suncatchers and new jewellery. 

We have a tone of beads and jewellery but I'd love to invite our craft campers to have a rummage through their own bedrooms before joining and have a think - is their any old beads or jewellery in here I'm not using anymore that are maybe just waiting to be recused and repurposed? 

What's cool about us is - it's all second hand, bits and bobs donated, salvaged, bought in tip shops, op shops and rummaged for in Nana's garage! We hope by using something old to make something new, we can save the supplies, the beautiful good quality ones that you just can not buy anymore and show the world that sustainability can be sparkly
